Layout addiction?

April 10th, 2010 by Meg

So after my last post I decided to try and make a new layout for Daydreamt; but I don’t know whether I like them enough to put them up and go through the hassle of coding. Here’s the stuff I thought were okay.

Meh. I think I’ll try again until I find one I can stand to look at for a long time later.

Parties!

April 8th, 2010 by Meg

Yesterday I went to my friends birthday party, which was a lot of fun. Sigh, reminds me that school is starting again soon though… holidays never last long enough.

Haven’t really had time to update site stuff; been having to catch up on homework before school. Have to admit, I’ll probably use this more as a blog than anything else.

Edit: (later in the day)
Anyway, I think I’m going to change the layout again. I know- I change my mind like crazy. Well, turns out I don’t like this layout as much as I did at first, so soon I shall put up/make a new one!
It’s also decided that I’ll make a effect tutorial soon; hopefully I have some time.

To Do List?

April 6th, 2010 by Meg

A little step in another direction from all these complainy-rant blogs I’ve been posting lately today; you never realise how much of a whinger you are until you look back.

Anyway my phone issues are solved, luckily I backed it up not too long ago so I still have most of my stuff. I still hate iTunes though.

So, I’ve been wondering what tutorials/articles to put up; any suggestions? No full-layout tutorials but maybe some effect ones? Or some general webdesign ones? I don’t know.

And the last thing is, I’m not sure what resources I should be supplying. I mean, it seems like no one really uses this type of stuff anymore, so I’ll probably only do some brushes, wallpapers and textures.

Well, I guess that’s it for today. :)

Right now I’m pulling my hair because my phone won’t turn on.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s served me well so far, but Apple forces me to use this piece of bullshit they call “iTunes” to sync and update. Ugh, it takes so long that I absolutely hate using it. And now that I’m having phone “issues”, I need to use this crap software to fix it.

You know what’s annoying? The fact that you need to COMPLETELY reinstall iTunes to update it.

And you know what else is annoying? When the phone decides to crash and you can’t even properly reset the phone without using iTunes.

And another thing? Their syncing USB cable things are pieces of crap that tend to break.

And they kind of have a lot of software issues, which is annoying because you can’t do what other people do and take out the battery or something to reset. You can’t freaking take out the battery without jumping through hoops.

AND. You know what sucks?
When you have to completely reset your phone and delete everything off it to get it to work.
And you don’t have all your apps backed up so you lose some.

Bah. I always knew I wasn’t an “Apple” person.
I do like the way the phone works though. When it works, that is. Damn me, why do I have to like things to be aesthetically pleasing and fun instead of just bloody practical. >_<

Clams?

April 3rd, 2010 by Meg

Went to the beach to legally collect clams today.
Fun was had. Clams were sandy tasting however, and I had trouble eating them after being the one collecting them- only managed to eat like, one without spitting it out (half due to sand, half due to that sick-in-the-stomache feeling). Now understands how vegetarians feel.

Fell asleep in the car. Tired.
Night :)
