Fairy Tail Love

February 2nd, 2012 by Meg

[ Spoiler Alert ]

I am up-to-date with all 115 episodes of Fairy Tail, eagarly awaiting the next. How is it so addictive? The storyline follows the same basic narrative structure with the beginning, problem, climax and resolution but somehow they do it better. In my opinion it’s like they took the best parts of many animes or shows and weaved them in somehow. Like it has parts of FMA with the magic, pokemon with the collection of keys instead of monsters, Sailor Moon in the transformations, Cardcaptor Sakura in Cana’s magic, it has dragons which speaks for itself, elements of Harry Potter. OH and
Gaming, especially MMO’s. Haha, there’s carries and supports and all sorts. LOL. The list could go on.

It’s not my favourite anime ever but it’s definitely a good one.

I am obsessed with coupling the characters. LOL. Don’t judge me, I know they’re cartoons. Allow me to go into geek mode.

My favourites are: Loki x Lucy, Juvia x Gray and my absolute favourite…
Gajeel x Levy.

I liked Loki a LOT in that episode where we find out who he really is. He and Lucy together make me d’aww. Except apparently he has some thing with Aries. Whatever. :P

Juvia is all over Gray but the lack of attention he pays to her kind of makes me want her to succeed in winning him over, haha. She’s always watching over him although sometimes that makes her crazy. LOL. I still like her. Actually, with Gray being one of the best looking characters in the anime I guess Juvia represents his great female fanbase, hahaha. Gray is one of my favourites :D

Gajeel and Levy. Unexpected pairing but it’s so damn good. It’s like that whole typical bad guy / good girl pairing. Gajeel is also one of my favourite characters because he’s just so funny, and like Lucy we get to see his whole story in the Fairy Tail guild from the very start of him joining. Not to mention he kicks serious ass LOL. And when he was looking for his own cat was so funny hahaha. I should make that moment a gif. Anyway Levy is the intelligent one, not strong but very smart. And I like how Gajeel kind of admires her like that, but also protects her when it comes to battle. And then she kind of helps him too.

Point is.
Oh, addictions. Gotta love them.

Retail Therapy

February 2nd, 2012 by Meg

Bryan is finally back from his overseas adventures, except he’s sick. :(

It has been a long time. Actually, it felt longer when he was away, but looking back and realising that it has been over a month… it doesn’t really feel like it has been that long at all. A month more of holidays passed? Wut?!

And what have I achieved during that time?

A whole lot of shopping and not a lot of anything else.

I just can’t seem to help myself nowadays, throughout high school I’ve been frugal. But when you have free time you realise just how much there is to buy. @__@ Everything seems useful.

Like today, I bought this eyeshadow palette I have always wanted to get ever since it came out— Urban Decays’ ever-popular ‘Naked‘ palette.

Anyway the words ‘Retail Therapy’. It sounds so dumb, but they describe the feeling perfectly. Whether it’s for getting out of the house, or taking a break from work, or hanging out with friends. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of going out and shopping or buying something. Even just window shopping has that relaxing effect.

I have become a consumer whore. LOL.

Whatever though. Everyone needs something to keep them sane. Perhaps shopping is admittedly one of the more selfish or spoilt ones, though.

I hope my palette arrives soon. Oh and I think I will begin posting those online shopping reviews here. I know, so random. Maybe I’ll just dedicate a section to it.

Sleepy

January 28th, 2012 by Meg

I am SO tired.
My sleeping habit has become so messed up nowadays, I can’t fall asleep until like 3AM and I sleep in until it’s almost lunch time.

Today I went to Yumcha with the family, then my aunty and uncle took us out and we ended up going to a warehouse where I bought myself a shoe rack thingy that is actually not a rack but a soft shelf.

Then my brother and I went to their house to watch Up on DVD since we hadn’t seen it before. Long overdue, I know. It was so sweet, I actually really liked it. We even watched the Bonus features which made me feel like travelling to South America and also painting, LOL.

Went to a Swedish pizza place for dinner, it was delicious.

Well, I’m falling asleep so I’ll just type everything I think even if it’s completely incoherent.

My room is clean. What a rare occasion. It’s like it has increased in size or something.

I’m ridiculously addicted to Fairytail. I went from episode 42-72 in a day. That’s what happens when you’re home all day, left to your own devices.

I had my first driving lesson on Friday.
It was okay I think.

I need to buy more organisational stuff, been kind of addicted to organising my room lately although some parts are still a mess and my clothes are spewing out of my wardrobe.

I wish my paintings wouldn’t fall down when I open the window.

Shower then nap. Or Fairytail. Maybe. Only like 20 episodes to go until I am up to date.

More Uni Stuff

January 26th, 2012 by Meg

So I’ve been addicted to Fairy Tail lately. Despite the fact it follows the typical battle kind of structure, I really like it LOL.

Anyway yesterday was my enrolment day. At first I was wandering around like a lost loner then I saw Michelle who was trying to proxy for Hilary, as well as Lea yen, Sab, Yash and later, James who’re all doing Comm/Law with me. Haha, I was surprised we had a pretty big group already.

Blahblah I can’t be stuffed going through all the lecture stuff. We got homework already, LOL. Gotta go to court and stuff in preparation for this 2000 word essay -.-’

Also, I spent a lot of money already. Gonna be sah poor by the end of this, sighhh.

More later. Kind of tired and watching Fairy Tail. Haha.

Many weeks worth of blog

January 21st, 2012 by Meg

Where should I begin?
Well in short, Daydreamt has undergone some major renovations. I don’t like this layout as much as the old site but this isn’t so bad. I’ve moved all the resources that I had backed up to my new project with Mary, Nivosus, which means “snowy” in Latin. That site will contain resources, guides and tutorials.

This site is now officially my personal blog only, as well as (possibly) a feed for my blogspot posts on my kind of unadvertised webmag, Obvsly. Only a feed because I doubt I’ll keep up with Obvsly when school’s on again.

Basically, Daydreamt is my free-for-all, I’m not limited to making it a resource site anymore, nor am I bound to that typical celebrity style layout. But I did decide to feature Audrey Hepburn on this one anyway, ’cause I felt like it.

So what has life been up to lately?

Well life took me to Queensland for a week. My parents couldn’t take my brother and I, so my Aunty and Uncle generously took us on the trip. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever been on a legitly scary ride up until the Gold Coast. I tried almost every ride that was listed under “thriller” in Movie World and Wet n Wild. I also went to Sea World which was surprisingly a lot of fun too, I really like looking at animals; it made me feel like a little kid again. Anyway back to rides: the Lethal Weapon was the scariest in my opinion, though Bryan says when he went, the Superman was the best. I think the Scoobydoo ride was the most fun though, just because I expected it to be crappy like the Haunted train thing in Luna Park, only to be pleasantly shocked.

Well, maybe some of you out there have been to Queensland heaps of times but for me it was a pretty big deal because, well…

I’ve never been on a plane before now.

And let me tell you, I do not like plane trips from my experience. I chewed gum, I pinched my nose and tried to pop my ears, I listened to music- I did everything and nothing worked.

My ears KILLED. Does everyone get that feeling? It really, really hurt in my ears and I couldn’t do crap about it.

Our apartment was just across the road to Surfers Paradise. It is a beautiful beach. The sand is gorgeous, the water is lovely. The sunset view is really pretty. I wish I could have spent more time there.

You know where else I wish I could have spent time in though?

The spa. LOL. It wasn’t an amazing spa but it was so relaxing and warm. ^___^

So Bryan has been overseas now for nearly a month. I still miss him. I hope time flies.

Oh and I got into Comm/Law at Monash Clayton! :D So exciting.

It’s late.
Just a blog before bed to bring in the (Chinese) New Year <3
