New Layout!

Hello guys, as you may have noticed, I have given the site a big revamp! This is scheduled for Sunday morning because I was up at 3am fixing it, which is way too late for an update.

Basically cleaned up the code and made everything a little more modern… I really liked the old layout but I think this is easier to read with the nicer and bigger font Clearly, it has a lot of the elements of the old layout… like the scalloped edges ’cause I love scalloped edges and I need my twitter & Youtube Channel Header to all match up somehow.

This layout took me ages because it’s like 90% code, rather than images, because I wanted to practice my coding again. Big thank you to my brother for helping me out with the code when it didn’t want to do what I wanted it to.

I’ve also added a new page with my videos on it, a much needed update. You can click on it and watch the videos straight from the site if you want, remember to ‘thumbs up’ if you liked the video though!

So that was my Saturday LOL. I actually have so many things I want to do this holidays, so I’m glad to tick this off the list of stuff to do. Tomorrow I’m hoping to film a video and maybe make a move on in regards to my Google Adwords Certificate

The Story of Daydreamt

Edit: Inspired by the song and embracing my own procrastination, I’ve created this new layout because the old layout’s colors were bugging me. Still have some glitches to fix but overall quite happy with how this has turned out Hope you guys like it!

Hi guys, being sick at home kind of sucks. I went to my clubs Corporate Dinner yesterday, despite being sick. Probably not the best idea, but I couldn’t miss out on the event we spent four months planning, haha. So now I’m sick and bored at home.

But being bored at home has it’s advantages. I’m in that mood, where you’re too tired and sick and groggy… that mood where people say they’re just floating. For me, it’s like I’m laying down in the middle of a lake, floating. Just drifting around in circles like a buoy.

Somehow I ended up looking up one of my favourite bands of all time, that I may have misplaced in my sudden obsession with Shinhwa and Kpop. Not that there’s anything wrong with either of them. They are all good in their own way. But this… I’ve missed this.

The band I’m talking about is called The Dandy Warhols. Their songs, We Used to Be Friends and Bohemian Like You were quite popular at one point. I found them because they made the Veronica Mars theme song, and I had an addiction to VM.

I actually love them. Their songs give me the same feeling that I get when I listen to Nirvana, that flow-through-your-body kind of vibe. It resonates with me, and I don’t know why. Maybe because it just reminds me of… life? LOL. So this is why old people like old music.

Anyway, I came across them once again, and remembered why I liked them. In particular, why I liked them so much that they are responsible for the name of this very blog. I didn’t realise they had a video for this song.

This song is called And Then I Dreamt of Yes. I really like it, and I really like the title, hence it becoming a part of my blog’s name. It’s so pretty.

Take a listen if you like really mellow vibes, whispers… something to float to. Similar songs of theirs include: You Were the Last High, Sleep & Talk Radio. More upbeat recommendations: We Used to Be Friends, Holding Me Up, Get off.

Don’t know if anyone can understand my feels though. Hahahaha, I sound so weird but I guess I’m just in that zone. What happens when you’re trapped at home.
